Dr. Saswati Datta is a highly accomplished academician, esteemed researcher and practicing engineer in the field of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering. She graduated in Civil Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, and was awarded MTech and PhD degree in Geotechnical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Dr. Datta is a charter engineer and fellow member of The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI). She was awarded fellowship from MHRD, GOI during her MTech and PhD and 'Women Scientist-A' Fellowship from DST, GOI in 2022. With more than 15 years’ experience, currently she is working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) and Program Lead in the Department of Civil Engineering at School of Advanced Engineering, UPES, Dehradun.
