Mr. G Santhosh Kumar completed his postgraduation (2020-2022) in Agronomy at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, where he received ICAR- Junior Research Fellowship with AIR-48. He qualified UGC-NET 2021-22 and ICAR-NET-2023. He Completed his Bachelor’s degree of Honors [B.Sc (Hons.)] in Agriculture [2016-2020] from Agricultural College, Bapatla, ANGRAU .
Dr. Samborlang K. Wanniang is an Assistant Professor in Agronomy at the College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, located in Kyrdemkulai, Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya. He graduated with a first-class degree in Agriculture from Doon (PG) College of Agriculture Science and Technology, Dehradun, Uttarakhand (affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand). Dr. Wanniang obtained his M.Sc. in Agriculture, specializing in Agronomy, from the College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences (CPGSAS) at CAU, Umiam, Meghalaya, in 2012. His master's research focused on the "Performance of quality protein maize under integrated nutrient management practices." In 2013, Dr. Wanniang pursued his Ph.D. in Agronomy at CPGSAS, CAU, Umiam, completing his doctoral studies in 2018. His research investigated "Integrated nutrient management practices in vegetable pea-maize cropping sequence." He was awarded the National Fellowship for Higher Education of ST Students, funded by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, for his doctoral studies. Dr. Wanniang began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in Agronomy on a contractual basis at the College of Agriculture (CAU-I), Kyrdemkulai, in July 2018. In December 2019, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Multi-Technology Testing Centre and Vocational Training Centre, College of Community Science (CAU-I), Tura, Meghalaya. He was transferred back to the College of Agriculture (CAU-I), Kyrdemkulai, in February 2020, where he continued to serve until August 2022. In July 2024, Dr. Wanniang was reposted to the College of Agriculture, Kyrdemkulai, where he currently continues his academic career. Dr. Wanniang's research expertise lies in integrated nutrient management, with a focus on studying growth and yield parameters, as well as soil physical, chemical, and biological properties. He has published five research papers, contributed four book chapters, and authored newsletters, popular articles and abstracts presented at various national and international conferences. In 2014, he qualified for the ICAR NET conducted by the Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board. He is also a member of the International Union of Organic Agriculture, Shillong.
Dr. Raj Bahadur, Professor obtained his Master Degree on Plant Physiology from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur and Ph. D. in Crop Physiology from Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj-224229, Ayodhya (U.P.). He worked as Research Associate, approximate three years at IIPR (Indian Institute of Pulses research, Kalyanpur, Kanpur) in Indo-Australian collaborative research project “Traits for yield improvement of chickpea in drought prone environments of India & Australia” and thereafter in year 2004 he joined as Scientist, Plant Physiology at Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj-224229, Ayodhya (U.P.). He has guided more than twenty M. Sc.(Ag.) and one Ph. D. (Crop Physiology) students and actively involved in teaching and research work. He has published more than fifty five research papers in reputed national and International Journals, twelve books, more than fifteen book chapters, more than fifty abstracts, two English articles and more than forty Hindi articles in national magazines. He has awarded more than nine awards like best teaching award, young scientist awards etc. He is life member of Indian Society of Pulses Research and Development, IIPR, Kalyanpur, Kanpur and Forum for Plant Physiologists, 01 Kamla Nagar, Saint Tukaram Hospital Chowk, Akola-144004 (M.S.) India. He is also member of Alumni Association of Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj-224229, Ayodhya (U.P.).
Mr. S. Anbarasan, Managing Director, Eduvision International Pvt. Ltd., Ph.D. in Agronomy, is a distinguished Agriculture expert with extensive experience in both Government and Private Seed companies. Agronomy is a science that contributes to World food production. Agronomy is the backbone of all Agricultural Sciences. Agronomists can combine production techniques from different fields of expertise. He cleared the ASRB/ICAR-NET2021 exam, which was held by the University Grants Commission in New Delhi in 2021. He earned his B.Sc. Agriculture from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture and Research Institute (PAJANCOA&RI), Karaikal, affiliated to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, and his M.Sc. Agronomy from PAJANCOA&RI, affiliated to Pondicherry University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Agronomy (Agriculture) at Annamalai University. He has spent the last six years devotedly working in the fields of Education and Research. He completed MOOCs on Nanotechnology in Agriculture, TANUVAS Management of Cattle Infertility, and Digital Teaching Techniques. In Kozhikode, he successfully completed a ten-day training course on Advances in Agricultural Water Management through Integrated approaches under the influence of a changing Climate (CWRDM) conducted by Government of Kerala. Together with Prof. M S Swaminathan, the Father of the Green Revolution, he has made significant progress in the National Commission on Farmers. He relished the on-farm trials, front line demonstrations, trainings, extension functionaries, diagnostic visits, and workshops he participated in. He also belongs to the Agricultural Scientific Tamil Society and the All-India Agricultural Students Association (ICAR) as a life member. His work in the field of Agricultural science has been published and presented in numerous National and International journals. Additionally, he presented at and attended conferences, workshops, symposiums, management development programs, selfstudy courses, and other events on a National and International basis and he has won the award for the best paper presentation, both oral and poster. His awards include the Dr. APJ. ABDUL KALAM Young Scientist Award for 2022, the Best Researcher Award from VOICE for 2021, the Young Researcher Award from ICEACBS for 2020, and a PATENT for Bio-Technical Interventions for Precision Agricultural Aspects and Crop Monitoring Analysis.
Mr. Pranav Raj is a Research Scholar in the field of Soil Science. He has successfully completed his post-graduation with exemplary academic records from the prestigious division of Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences. He has into his account several peer-reviewed research and review papers published in acclaimed National and International journals in the prestigious field of Soil Science and Agronomy along with many Book chapters and popular Articles covering topics such as Weed Management, Soil Fertility, Nano-Technology, Soil Health, Detection of Soil Nutrient Deficiencies, The impact of mineral fertilizer on Soil Microbial Communities, Sustainable Farmer-Friendly Technologies for Soil Management etc. He is also a peerreviewer in National and International Journals. He has also been awarded with Young Professional Award Organised By ICAR & G.H Raisoni University. He was selected for the Course Specialised in Basics of RS, GIS, and GNSS by ISRO. He has also qualified for the ICAR- AIEEA- PhD (SRF) Entrance Examination for the Ph.D Programme. With his comprehensive understanding of Soil Science, he strives to bridge the gap between Research and Practical Implementation. He believes in the importance of Resourceuse Efficiency and Soil Conservation skills for Maximizing the benefits of Agriculture. Through his work, Pranav aims to promote Sustainable Agricultural practices that contribute to Soil health, carbon Sequestration and the overall well-being of Agricultural Ecosystems.
Dr. Manu S. M., is presently working as Research Fellow at the Division of Agronomy, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, under CRPCA Project. He hails from Sundavalu Village in the Periyapatna Taluk of Mysuru District, Karnataka (India) belonging to the highly vulnerable nomadic tribe. He completed Under Graduation and PostGraduation degree programmes from UAS, Bengaluru and UAS, Dharwad, respectively. He has received the PhD degree from the IARI, New Delhi in the discipline of agronomy with focusing on the research topic entitled "Microbial-mediated in-situ rice residue management and its effects on soil health and productivity of the rice-wheat system.” It aims to identify sustainable management options for rice straw by integrating microbial consortia (Pusa Decomposer) to solve the environmental issue of stubble burning. He has published 13 research papers in the various national and international reputed journals. During his academic journey, he showed exemplary leadership qualities and he had the privilege of being elected as the Students Representative to the Academic Council of IARI in 2020-21, which substantially contributed towards IARI student’s welfare. He was previously served in country’s leading agricultural students’ organizations such as PGSSU-IARI(Executive Member, 2020- 21 & 2021-22), BABSA-IARI (President, 2022-23), AIASA, New Delhi (Chief PRO & State President Delhi NCT, 2019), Ambedkar Students Association (ASA), GKVK (Treasurer & Co-organizing Secretary, 2012-16) and Ambedkar Students Welfare Association (ASWA), UAS Dharwad (General Secretary, 2017-18), which showcased his high standard voluntarism and involvement in solving various students related issues through these organizations. Beyond academics, he actively participated in sports, representing the university six times in various games/cultural events at the All India level. He was also honoured with the State Best NSS Volunteer by the Government of Karnataka for emphasizing the importance of community service. He has recently elected as a member of the Executive Committee of IARI Alumni Association, New Delhi.
