Ms. Jagadam Sai Rupali is currently a Ph.D. scholar in Entomology at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. She holds a bachelor's degree in agriculture with first class distinction from S.V. Agricultural College, ANGRAU, Tirupati, and a master's degree from IARI, New Delhi. During her academic career, she was awarded the ICAR-JRF for her M.Sc. and ICAR-SRF for her Ph.D. program. She was awarded a gold medal and the Best Student of the Year 2023 award from the President of India during the 62nd convocation of IARI. She has also received the Best Thesis Award and Young Entomologist Award for her research on “Post-mating transcriptional changes in female moths of the fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda”. She is one of the inventors of the ICAR-KRISHI technology- FAW Transcriptomic Atlas. She has also authored research and review articles, book chapters, and popular articles.
Ms. Vidya Madhuri E., is currently a Ph.D. scholar in Entomology at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. She earned her bachelor's degree in agriculture with first-class distinction from Agricultural College, Bapatla (ANGRAU), and completed her master's degree at IARI, New Delhi, achieving the highest OGPA in her M.Sc. program. She has been awarded the ICAR-JRF for her M.Sc. studies, ICAR-SRF and INSPIRE fellowship for her Ph.D. program. Additionally, she has qualified for the ASRB NET in 2023 and received the best thesis award for her exceptional work on “Assessing brown planthopper damage using hyperspectral remote sensing” and three models were developed through the study for assessment of BPH severity. She is a co-inventor of the ICAR-KRISHI technology 'FAW Transcriptomic Atlas'. Her dedication and hard work have earned her the Young Agri Researcher Award, best oral and poster presentation awards at various conferences. She has also published research and review articles, book chapters, and popular articles.
Dr. R. Wongamthing completed her Ph.D. in Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Thrissur, entitled "Evaluation of phylloplane microorgnisms for the management of early blight of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.)". Her main research area includes: Screening and determination of biochemical basis of resistance induced by selected phylloplane microbes; and assessment of phylloplane microbial diversity by metagenomic analysis using Illumina MiSeq platform (Next Generation Sequencing). She did her M.Sc. (Plant Pathology) in UBKV, West Bengal. She earned a prestigious best Poster award presentation in 71st annual meeting, Indian Phytopathological Society & National Symposium on recent challenges and opportunities in sustainable plant health management. She has presented and participated in many international, national and state level seminars, conferences, workshops and trainings. She has made significant contributions to scientific research, reviews and book chapters through publications in many national and international papers in reputed peer reviewed and UGC- CARE approved list journals.
Dr. Nunavath Umil Singh, completed Ph.D degree in the department of Agronomy at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He obtained his degree in Bachelor of science, Agriculture in 2018 from Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad, Telangana. He has awarded JRF fellowship by ICAR during 2018-2020 and completed Master of Science (Agronomy) in 2020 from University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore, Karnataka. He was awarded Doctoral fellowship under the ministry of tribal affairs, Govt. of India (NFST) during 2021-2024. He has published 10 research article, 2 review articles and 2 book chapters in different national and international journals and also published 8 popular articles in different magazines.
Dr. P. T. Sharavanan working as Associate Professor (Plant Pathology) at Centre of Excellence in Millets, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Athiyandal, India. He is currently working on diseases and its management in various small millet crops under All India Coordinated Research Project on Small Millets at this centre. He contributed for development of two rice varieties, one variety each in finger millet, foxtail millet, prosomillet and barnyard millet. His contribution in the field of research on management of Fusarium wilt of banana is commendable word wide and his paper on its being now cited various researchers at International level. Earlier, he was involved in teaching to Undergraduate students and handled various 17 courses of plant pathology. He also involved in transfer of technology as a part of his career and awarded the Best Extension Professional Award by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in 2014 for his contribution in transfer of technology for farming communities. Besides, he has received many awards. He is guided two post graduate students and two Ph.D students so far. He has published 43 research papers in various national and international journals and attended several national and international conferences.
Mr. S. Anbarasan, Managing Director, Eduvision International Pvt. Ltd., Ph.D. in Agronomy, is a distinguished Agriculture expert with extensive experience in both Government and Private Seed companies. Agronomy is a science that contributes to World food production. Agronomy is the backbone of all Agricultural Sciences. Agronomists can combine production techniques from different fields of expertise. He cleared the ASRB/ICARNET-2021 exam, which was held by the University Grants Commission in New Delhi in 2021. He earned his B.Sc. Agriculture from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture and Research Institute (PAJANCOA&RI), Karaikal, affiliated to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, and his M.Sc. Agronomy from PAJANCOA&RI, affiliated to Pondicherry University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Agronomy (Agriculture) at Annamalai University. He has spent the last six years devotedly working in the fields of Education and Research. He completed MOOCs on Nanotechnology in Agriculture, TANUVAS Management of Cattle Infertility, and Digital Teaching Techniques. In Kozhikode, he successfully completed a ten-day training course on Advances in Agricultural Water Management through Integrated approaches under the influence of a changing Climate (CWRDM) conducted by Government of Kerala. Together with Prof. M S Swaminathan, the Father of the Green Revolution, he has made significant progress in the National Commission on Farmers. He relished the on-farm trials, front line demonstrations, trainings, extension functionaries, diagnostic visits, and workshops he participated in. He also belongs to the Agricultural Scientific Tamil Society and the All-India Agricultural Students Association (ICAR) as a life member. His work in the field of Agricultural science has been published and presented in numerous National and International journals. He published two textbook and book chapters. Additionally, he presented at and attended conferences, workshops, symposiums, management development programs, self-study courses, and other events on a National and International basis and he has won the award for the best paper presentation, both oral and poster. His awards include the Best Research Paper Award 2024, Best M.Sc. Thesis Award, Out Standing Agronomist Award, Dr. APJ. ABDUL KALAM Young Scientist Award for 2022, Best Researcher Award from VOICE for 2021, the Young Researcher Award from ICEACBS for 2020, and a PATENT for Bio-Technical Interventions for Precision Agricultural Aspects and Crop Monitoring Analysis
