This book aims to provide a comprehensive overview of renewable energy systems, from the fundamental principles that underlie them to the practical applications and technological advancements that are driving their adoption. It is designed for a diverse audience, including under gruate students, researchers, engineers, and anyone with an interest in the future of energy.
Throughout this book, we will explore the various types of renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, fuel cell, hydrogen generation bio gas and biomass and how this is connected to smart grid system.
One of the key themes of this book is the interdisciplinary nature of renewable energy systems. Achieving a sustainable energy future requires collaboration across multiple fields, including physics, engineering, environmental science, economics, and policy. By bringing together insights from these diverse areas, this book aims to provide a holistic understanding of renewable energy and its potential to transform our energy landscape.
As we stand at the cusp of a new era in energy production, it is essential to equip ourselves with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the transition to renewable energy. I hope that this book will serve as a valuable resource for those seeking to understand and contribute to this vital field especially for under graduate engineering students. Together, we can work towards a sustainable energy future that benefits both our planet and future generations.
