ABOUT BOOK

ABOUT AUTHOR

The following discussion covers the specifics of the research work done in each chapter and the technique used to conduct the research work.

The Introduction chapter discusses the plan for the entire research project. Here, the researcher gave the topic's conceptual description. The author examined theoretical foundations and expanded the body of knowledge to get insights on the subject. The research gaps and the targeted field of study are highlighted based on the synthesis of the existing literature. The intended research on agri-tourism sustainability, along with challenges and opportunities, was discussed to define the problem.

Literature is reviewed in this chapter. The author studied a pool of 206 research publications for the literature evaluation based on multiple forward and backward search procedures, keywords, and various filter criteria. The various aspects and connections suggested in each research study were compiled for examination. There were also papers on other topics, including the agritourism scenario, sustainability features, demographics, and a survey of ATC visitors' perceptions and promotional techniques. By studying various literature on agritourism, the said factors such as rural culture, location, social media marketing, and marketing practices have greater importance in developing ATCs in the Pune district. The conceptual model has been designed to promote ATCs in the Pune region.

An overview of the agritourism industry in India, Maharashtra, and Pune is provided in the industry profile, together with information on the key companies and their recent history. The chapter also discusses the advantages, difficulties, and significance of sustainable aspects in the agritourism sector in developing opportunities. The various models used by the ATCs now operating in the Pune region are also being investigated to understand the market dynamics better.

The chapter of Research Methodology includes a thorough description of the study agenda, research strategy development, various statistical analysis techniques, and the justification for their usage. This chapter explains the method used to prepare the instrument, the mechanism of the pilot study, and the findings of the reliability analysis of the pilot study. This chapter links agritourism sustainability factors considering the challenges and opportunities to promote the growth and development of ATCs in and around the Pune region, a hypothesis, and its empirical validation.

The chapter of Data Analysis and Interpretation discussed the data collected from 33 agritourism centre owners & 479 visitors to these ATCs. The researcher has presented the usage of various statistical tests ((Reliability, Validity, T-test, Chi-square test and Structural Equation Model) and their validation. The results obtained for each test are studied by the researcher to explore the interrelationship between variables. Moreover, hypotheses are tested, and the suggested model is explained using SEM. The chapter also covers qualitative data analysis (Awareness about ATCs, Opinions, Experiences, Expectations and Sustainability factors)

The chapter of Findings and Suggestion discusses complete body of work and research summary. It provides a synopsis of the entire research process (from basic research ideas to conceptualization of models and further to statistical analysis and its vital conclusions). The relationship between the study's goals, its hypotheses, and the statistical support for each is examined. The report's main findings, a thorough analysis of the test results, and conclusions are covered in great depth.

The report also consists of the Bibliography and Annexure (all supporting materials, including citations from books, articles, and internet addresses). This chapter also discusses the study's limitations, the research's potential future directions, the results of the research activity itself, and how those results would ultimately benefit different stakeholders.
