Dr. Nasir Hamid Masoodi
Dr. Nasir Hamid Masoodi, Faculty Member, Division of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST K), With specializing in ornamental crop production, propagation, post-harvest management, and landscaping. His vision is to establish Jammu and Kashmir as a model for sustainable commercial floriculture through innovative education, research, and extension activities. With over 16 years of experience, he has contributed to more than 31 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals and has authored 2 books, 9 e-books, and 4 book chapters. His work has earned him multiple Achievers Awards for research, capacity building, and distinguished services. He has also delivered over 110 talks and 190 lectures in extension programs. He has been actively involved in national and international consultancy projects, furthering the development of floriculture and landscape architecture. His mission is to support socio-economic growth by enhancing the floriculture industry, generating employment, and promoting skill development.
Dr. Neelofar
Dr. Neelofar, Faculty Member, Division of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-K), With over 32 years of experience SKUAST-K, She have dedicated her career to the advancement of commercial floriculture. As a faculty member in the Division of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, she have had the privilege of guiding numerous Master's and postgraduate students in the field of floriculture. In addition to my academic contributions, She have worked on several research and consultancy projects (RCM) and served as Co-Principal Investigator in the All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) in Floriculture at the Srinagar Center. She have authored several books, peer reviewed national and international articles, contributed to book chapters, and developed practical manuals to further the field of floriculture. Her work continues to be driven by a passion for teaching and advancing floriculture research.
Dr. Qazi Altaf
Dr. Qazi Altaf, Faculty Member, Division of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-K), He have been a faculty member in the Division of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture at SKUAST-K for the past 16 years. With extensive experience in floriculture, landscaping, and turf management, He have had the privilege of guiding numerous Master’s and postgraduate students in their academic and research pursuits in these fields. Alongside teaching, He have contributed to various research consultancy projects (RCM) and authored several books, peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and practical manuals. His work also includes reviewing international and national publications, helping to further the development of floriculture and landscape sciences.
Mr. Padi Mahesh
Mr. Padi Mahesh is an enthusiastic and dedicated scholar currently pursuing a Master's degree in Floriculture and Landscape Architecture at SKUAST-K (Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology - Kashmir). He completed his undergraduate studies in Horticulture at SKLTSHU (Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University), Telangana. Throughout his academic journey, He was demonstrated a deep passion for horticulture, floriculture landscape design. In addition to his studies, he has actively contributed to the field by writing monthly magazines and extension leaflets, aimed at spreading awareness and providing valuable knowledge on various horticultural and landscaping practices. His commitment to learning and sharing knowledge underscores his drive to make a meaningful impact in the world of horticulture and landscape architecture.
