Dr. Gurbir Singh
Dr. Gurbir Singh [M.Sc. (Ag) Horticulture, ICAR NET & Ph.D. in Horticulture (Fruit Science)] having12 years of teaching and research experience & presently working as Assistant Professor of Horticulture (Fruit Science) in PG Department of Agriculture, Khalsa College Amritsar, Punjab. He got Best Teacher Award by AGC, Asr. & Young Horticulturist Award by AEDA, UP. He also served as Nodal officer at NTI-Asr. under AC&ABC scheme (MANAGE- Hyderabad) of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India, before joining KCA. His research focus on characterization of mango in north western regions of India & have published research papers, articles in national & international journals. He has participated in many National and International conferences, symposiums, seminars etc. and presented research papers.
Mr. Satyarath Sonkar
Mr. Satyarath Sonkar is a Research Scholar at Department of Fruit science, College of Horticulture, Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh (208002). He did his graduation from T.D.P.G. College, Jaunpur, U.P. in 2019. Thereafter, he completed his M.Sc. Ag. (Horticulture) from S.V.P.U.A & T. Meerut, Uttar Pradesh in 2021. He wrote many Popular Articles, Abstracts, Research Paper, Book Chapter in various National and International magazines/journals/souvenir etc. He has cleared UGC-NET exam and awarded by National Fellowship. He has also awarded by Best Master’s Thesis awards and Budding Young Horticulturist award.
Rohit Singh
Rohit Singh, completed his B.Sc. Agriculture from Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University in 2018 and M.Sc. in Agriculture (Horticulture) from Department of Horticulture, B.H.U, Varanasi in 2020. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. from the same university. He has qualified ASRB-NET in 2023 in Vegetable Sciences. Along with that, he has the work experience of 2 years 5 months (June, 2019 to November, 2021) in various growth regulators, insecticide and fungicide testing on various vegetable crops at BHU, Varanasi. He has participated in numerous conferences, seminars and also published research articles, popular articles, book chapters.
Suman Kumari
Suman Kumari, born in Rajasthan, India. She is a Doctoral student in School of Agricultural Sciences Nagaland University, Nagaland. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agriculture and Horticulture in 2019 and 2022, respectively from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agriculture University Bikaner, Rajasthan and Agriculture University, Kota, Rajasthan. She has participated in many National and International Conferences, several Training programmes and workshops, Seminars, Conclave and Symposium and presented her work there. She has also published many research paper, review papers, Manuals, 18 book chapters, 2 books and many articles in reputed journals and magazines as main author and co-author.
Ms. Rakhi R.
Ms. Rakhi R., is an Assistant Professor in Horticulture, working at the College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Agricultural University. Worked as Research Investigator, Research Assistant, Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow and Vocational Teacher in Agriculture prior joining Kerala Agricultural University. Was able to collect different landraces of Cucumis melo L. from different parts of Kerala and characterize them. Had the chance to serve as Principal Investigator /Associate / Co-PI with research programmes on different horticultural crops. Handled courses for M.Sc., B.Sc. (Agri.) and B.Tech. (Biot.) students and provided research guidance for them. Published journal articles/reference textbooks /popular articles /leaflets/booklets/folders and more on a variety of topics. Organized many training sessions/seminars/workshops for farmers and students. Participated in various national and international training programmes/conferences/ symposiums/ seminars/ workshops/ MOOC courses etc. and other events on a variety of subjects.
